Joe Marlow's grandfather opened this place in 1986, four streets back from the seafront. Three generations of one family, the same beer batter recipe, the same dripping fryers. The only thing that's changed in forty years is the till.
Joe took over in 2014 and gave it the modern treatment — proper photography on the menu, an actual website, ordering on every app a customer might use. Same food. Same family. Same paper bag.
